The Feasts of Tabernacles was originally to be remembered as the days Israel spending 40 years in the wilderness after the deliverance of Egypt.
"And ye shall keep it a feast unto the Lord seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God."~ Leviticus 23:41-4 (KJV)
As we are taught the days of Israel are a reminder, an analogy of the return of the completion of Kingdom of YAH on Earth and of the good works of Alahym creating and implementing the plan of deliverance and salvation. We are to shed the tabernacle of works, lean not unto our own power, but onto the Tabernacle of Faith in Alahym's good works, the Gospel. Just as his Son, Yahshua delivered us of True Faith, from Judgment, redeeming us from death and Satan.
"Now the Jew's feast of tabernacles was at hand. His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest. For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world. For neither did his brethren believe in him. Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready. The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come. When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee. But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret." ~ John 7:2-10 (KJV)
"Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount."~ Hebrews 8:1-5
We now live in a temporary world; set for destruction, to be gathered into the New World, which will be spoken of at the end of dwelling in this wilderness, a Feast of Ingathering.
"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God." ~ Revelation 21:2-4 (KJV)
Yet, there is more to be understood, know that the body we live in now is a temporary tabernacle of the Holy Spirit, baptized and anointed by the Spirit who is our Father YAH. Just as Israel was brought out of the wilderness after their appointed days, so shall we shed this fleshly tabernacle and be given a New Spiritually-endowed Immortal Tabernacle, just as Yeshua was given and returned to him from the Father as the Son of YHVH. We to will share in his glory of the Father and co-heir in his promise to all his Children of Spirit and Truth. Those who believe will be like the heavenly sons of YAH and will rule with the Messiah as Kings and Priest in service, an eternal course in the New Tabernacle, New Jerusalem.
"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. ~1 Corinthians 3:16-17"
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. ~ 2 Corinthians 5:1-5
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." ~ 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory." ~ 1 Corinthians 15:50-55
So, when that day comes when Alahym has shed the old flesh over us, while Alahym has created new man in us, of his own image, we are given a new incorruptible tabernacle that we may dwell in the Tabernacle not made by man, but by YAH.
"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. ~ 1 John 3:1-3
All I can conclude is this: AMIEN!
